Is there a good program to create ER diagrams for you? I know
DBVisuaziler can do it, but are there any other tools?

DBDesigner by Fabforce has is an excellent free modeling tool

Maybe you could give azzurri clay a try. It runs as a eclipse plug-in,
check out the homepage http://www.azzurri.jp/en/software/clay/index.jsp.
Core Edition is free (check the license info).

KCompany's Data Architect is imho another interesting tool :

There is Case2 and DBmodeler by Fabforce. DBmodeler is open source
