We have a number of databases being hosted on Filemaker Server 5.5 via
Appletalk and TCP/IP, and both PC and Mac users are normally able to connect
remotely using the 'Specify Hosts' option.

Something has happened that now prevents one of our PCs from getting in via
TCP/IP.  All Macs still have access.

I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps (I think) and verified that
the machine is connecting to the host machine via the router... It just
doesn't seem to recognize the databases!

Is there something I should know?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...

Debra

Make sure the Filemaker file names all have the extension .fp5

Macs can recognize Filemaker databases without the Filename extension,
but Win PCs can not.

Also, kake sure each computer has a unique IP address. The routher
should take care of that if they are all set to use DHCP server to set
the IP address. Maybe the problem PC is not set that way.
