I have a problem with the command INSERT THE DATE in the scriptmaker of
FM5 on a Imac (system 9.1). This command is in a script which is
executed when the document is launched.

Sometimes the date is in the field,  sometimes not !!

Anyone has a solution

Sorry for englisch and thank you for reply

For the script step 'Insert Current Date' to work (in FM5), the target
date field has to be on the current layout.
It's easier to use: Set Field  ["DateField", "Status(CurrentDate)"]
Also make sure the target field has a 'date' data type.

Why it sometimes works and sometimes not is hard to tell after the
information you give here.
Maybe you could supply more info on this.
