Version = vfp50

I have been using vfp50 for years and have been able to
create setup files without any problem.  All of a sudden,
when I click on Tools\Wizards\Setup if get a
messagebox "There are no registered wizards of this
type".  I have done a re-install, etc and the problem
continues to exist.  What happened and how do I fix it?

Hi Cowboy:

Let's try to invoke the Setup Wizard without using the menu.

1. From the Command window, run this command:

Do Wizard.app.

(This steps assumes you have the default folder set to the VFP home folder.)

Can you choose the Setup Wizard from this list?

2. If that does not work, navigate to the VFP6\Wizards folder and DO
WZsetup.app.  This is the Setup Wizard itself.  Does this work?

To fix this problem, you might want to follow the steps in this article
that shows how to delete and recreate the Wizard.dbf and Wizard.fpt files.

I hope this helps.
