Does any one have an easy to use algorithm to include as
part of the setup that will allow for safe/controlled
distribution of software ?  I would like to
protect/prohibit the distribution of the software.

Thanks in advance.

David,
You need to provide more information on what you really want or expect. In general, "easy" and "protected" are mutually exclusive. As even Microsoft has learned, there is no foolproof protection method - their XP technique has caused legitimate users much trouble, and yet there were hackers that had workarounds available the day it was released!
