VFP 8
Tools...Options...File locations...Search path. I set this, and click on set
default, and then OK.
But, it won't stay set. When I exit VFP, and come back in again, it is
blank. I check the registry. It is actually set in the registry.
Help??
Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
Do you have a SET PATH statement in your CONFIG.FPW file? (MODI COMM SYS(2019))

Hi Jim:
This might be a bug we found in VFP 8.0 after it shipped.
We found that if VFP 8.0 does not have a Config.fpw file the search path is
not retained. This can be resolved by setting up VFP 8.0 to use a
Config.fpw. The Config.fpw does not have to contain anything; VFP 8.0 just
needs to find it. You can create one using Notepad and save the file as
Config.fpw into the same folder as VFP8.exe.
I hope this helps.
