In one of my programs which is run on a Chinese (language) Installation of
Window (XP or 2000, not sure which),
the client reports to be getting an error message 'Function name is
missing ).'
I'm still not sure where this comes from, but has anyone else come across a
similar problem.

NOTE : This error doesn't occur when running on an English (language)
installation of Windows (XP & 2000).

Best Regards,

Thilaka

Hi Thilaka:

No, I have not heard of this.  What version of VFP are you using?  If this
is an executable, do you have the proper version of the runtime files?  For
example, if your development version of VFP is SP1, then the runtime files
must also be the SP1 version.

Have you tried building the executable with debug information?  This may
tell you the offending line of code. If you can reproduce the problem in
VFP, then trace the code to determine the exact line of code.

I hope this helps.
