How do I disable Intellisense in VFP 7.0? I did try unchecking Enable
IntelliSense, adding Command = _VFP.EditorOptions = "lqkT" to my config.fpw,
and removing the file location for Intellisense Manager in Tools Options File
Locations. When I open up VFP again, it's re-enabled. There has got to be an
easy way to do this.

Menu->Tools->Options->Save as default
also saves such options as "Enable Intellisense"
into the Registry.

Bye, Olaf.

Olaf,

Thanks for the reply, but that didn't do the trick either.

Hi Dr. Tarheel:

Try using the Config.fpw file as shown in this article:

I hope this helps.

Lee,

If you read the original posting, you'll note the specifics mentioned in
that article. If you have a copy of VFP 7.0 for Windows, give it a try. It
doesn't seem to work on two separate PC's here at the office.

By the way, you still working in Charlotte? Is Harold O still working with
you guys?

Hey Lee,

Please take a look at Rick Bean's suggestion. It worked for me. Perhaps you
could put that through as a KB article.

You can do do the following in you startup program (or make it your command
statement in your CONFIG.FPW):
_foxcode = ""

Or in Menu -> Tools -> Options... -> File Locations (tab) set the FoxCode
Table location to blank. Don't forget to click on Set As Default, if you
want it for more than the current session.

To turn it back on, reset the value to where ever your foxcode.dbf is. e.g.
_foxcode = "c:\program files\microsoft visual studio 7\vfp7\foxcode.dbf"
