For some reason my USG port is not working anymore. I was using a USB
optical mouse, and one day I rebooted the computer and it would not work, so
I plugged in my old mouse and it works fine. What do I need to do in my
computer to get my USB Port to work?

The old mouse is not USB? Did you try other USB mice and every
different USB port, assumed your PC has more than one socket?
However, the solution might depend on the operating system you use and
its version.
If it is a Windows system, better repost your question in a newsgroup with
"windows" in its name.
