Multiple DB2 versions on Windows?

I was talking to a colleague the other day and mentioned that I was
thinking of installing DB2 (LUW) V8.1 FP8 on the same Windows XP machine
that currently holds DB2 V7.2 FP 9. He told me that it is not possible to
put two different versions of DB2 (LUW) on the same Windows machine. I'd
never heard that before and wonder if he might be mistaken.

Can anyone confirm that it is in fact not possible to put multiple version
of DB2 on the same Windows machine?

This is true. Only one version of DB2 can be run under Windows at the
current point in time.

Thanks for confirming my colleague's remarks! It would have affected my
planning considerably if he had been wrong.
