Please tell me if IBM DB2 Universal Database Version 7
can run on Windows Server 2003 (even if this configuration
is not supported by IBM)

Thanks,

Yes, according to the readme files DB2 V7 fixpack 4 was already
certified for Windows Server 2003.

We upgraded to DB2 8.1.5 when we went live with Windows Server 2003.

Even if DB2 V7 would run (and I believe it does at a suitable FP level), I
would very strongly recommend your not following this path. There is little
point in upgrading the O/S - this being a major job - and not upgrading DB2.
Either stick with Windows 2000 and your current DB2 version, or upgrade both
at the same time.

There are some "oddities" with Kerberos and AD that are resolved in 8.2.
