My IT dept person is comparing Web Sphere and MS Share Point to decide
which one to imply.
So far we have found 1 of good and bad on each:
Web Sphere : support multi languages, but no programmer in house
Share Point : .NET programmer in house. does not support asian
languages we need

Any input???

Thx

From the evaluations I've read from large organizations that have
tested before implementing ... stay away from SharePoint. There is
far more wrong with it than met your eyes.

I thought it may be the case. I just wanted to get more input on this
from others since I'm pretty much clueless on this.  Thanks, Daniel,
for your input.
anything more?

We have both: SharePoint for document collaboration, Websphere as a Java
Server and Java development environment. I've never really felt there was
much in the way of an overlap.

The real question was not Sharepoint vs Websphere but Microsoft Sharepoint
vs IBM [Lotus] Notes [Domino]. ShrePoint won out because of its better
integration with Office and more logical structuring.

None of which is relevant to DB2.
