                         Can anyone say how to find the user name who
attached to the instance...........

Hi:

When you only ATTACH to the instance, you will NOT see the entry in db2
list applications command. However, you can compare the output of
db2 list applications show detail
with
db2pd -inst
output to see the application ids that don't exist in db2 list
applicatins output.
