hi.
I'm using DB2 9 Developer Workbench, Debug icon is dim (deactivated), I
tried all help tools how to setup, but failed..

Am I missing any installations? or is there any special setting?

Thanks for help

I take some educated guesses:
* Did you build the procedure in debug mode?
* Are you simply pointing o the procedure or is it part of a project
  DWB is project driven...

Thanks Serge for your quick response.

1- I build the procedure in debug mode.
2- I do a right click on the Stored procedure at Data Project Explorer.

Serge,

I have exactly the same problem : the debug mode is always grayed out.   And
some of our developers were complaining about this too.   They have dropped
back to the V8 tools to allow them to debug stored procedures.

They also complain that the Fixpack 1 update breaks a lot of things :-(

Have you opened a PMR? What IBM doesn't know IBM can't fix.

Serge,

I will, but haven't yet !!!   I'm just assessing the "extent of the damage"
at the moment (I also can't even get DWB to start on Linux at all).

We just attempted the Fixpack 1 upgrade a couple of days ago.

:-) Sorry I can't help. Just don't have tool-people at my finger tips
and I'm not aware of any of their developers posting here
(much to my dismay).
BTW, for this GUI stuff I also recommend the Express C support forum.
It's moderated :-)

Cheers
