Having two editions of DB2 Connect on same machine?

I am a developer and I have a need to run both 'DB2 Connect Personal
Edition' and 'DB2 Connect Enterprise Edition' on my same development
box.  The reason for this is the need to replicate the same behavior
(particularly licensing behavior) at deployment.

Can these two editions co-exist on the same box?  Alternatively, is
there a way to force the higher-end 'DB2 Connect Enterprise Edition' to
downgrade itself and behave like 'DB2 Connect Personal Edition',
essentially by force-feeding the 'db2conpe.lic' license file to DB2
Connect Enterprise?

Thank you for your help.

What version?

v8: you need to use VMWare or some other similar machine virtualisation.
v9: Yes.
