Hi, I have the following version of DB2 installed on a server:
FP9a_WR21350_WSE.exe

I have 2 client computers with the DB2 Admin version
FP9a_WR21350_ADMCL.exe

I need to install the DB2 client on a third computer. Can I simply
install the fixpak by itself or do I have to first install the admin
client separately then install the fixpak on top of it? I think the
version number I have is DB2 V8.1.5.449.

Thank you very much for helping.

On Windows OS, you can just install the fixpack level of the DB2 software
that you want (client or server). The Windows DB2 fixpacks are
self-contained and don't need any previous software installed.

If you had Linux or UNIX versions, you would have to install the base code
first (8.1 or 8.2), and then fixpack you want.
