Hi folks,

Who knows how to create multi-location/global views? Could you show me
some examples?

Thanks in advance,

Laurence

Thanks for the reply.

The view could join information in multiple data sources located on
different systems (across systems), even on different databases in the
same system/machine (across databases).

Have any comments?

I think you need to ebable federated DB first, then create view on
them.

Use DB2's federated capabilities, i.e. create wrapper, server, and nickname
objects.  A nicknames is a placeholder/pointer/reference to a table in
another database.
