is there any password criteria for DB2 administration server user?

im trying to install the DB2 9 version and while installation it is
asking DAS user for DB2 tools.

i've given as many passwords as i can but it always says "The
password specified is invalid. Enter a valid password".

can any one give me the criterias for the user's password to be
specified here.

The userid and password are controlled by the operating system.
