Hi,

How can i determine the codepage of a database from a CLI (or embedded
SQL) program ? Is there a catalog table that i can query for this
information ?

Thanks

Vivek,

For DB2 9 use 'select * from sysibmadm.dbcfg' and see what you need.

Best regards,

Thanks Joachim. Is there an equivalent way for DB2 8 ? I see that i
can get the codepage (as a number) from syscat.datatypes ? Is there a
way to map this to a codeset (i.e. codepage as a name)
