Folks:

Is there a DB2 version I can install on my laptop ? Single CPU (not
dual core/processor) with 1GB RAM -

DB2 9.1 Express-C - I thought needs 4GB or is it upto 4 GB and dual-
core - wasn't explicit enough where I read it...how much HD space do I
need ?

Thanks.

Though I used DB2 V8 and my PC configuration is a Processor of x86
Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 10 GenuineIntel 696 Mhz, Physical Memory of
392,688 KB(384MB) and 30GB Disk,
it is usable for basic performance test of DMLs for upto hundreds of
thousand rows tables(usually less than 20-30MB total disk space for a
table), at least used solely for DB2 with Command Editor(I don't like
CLP. Even for commands like load, export or import, so on).

I run that version on a Toshiba laptop with 512mb RAM and a single processor
(actually, I've also runit on a PIII 600mhz and 512mb RAM).  You should
have no issues with yours.
