Scenario:

1.System date is changed to year 2008, per say Nov 2008
2. An offline backup of DB2 is taken
3. System date is made current ( year 2007 )
4. DB2 database is dropped.

Question : Can i restore the DB2 backup since the system date is old
as per the backup timestamp ?

Appreciate your ideas on this.

Thanks
Naveen

My experience is that you are likely to have problems, if you can
even do the restore.

There are some strange ("interesting") side effects when you have
objects in the system catalog that were created in the future.
