Do you mean IDS 9.4 on IIUUG?... it is a zip which decompress in cpio
format... and you install with cpio:

I did it and it worked with no problem.

Very curious... indeed...

So if you agree it is iiug's IDS 9.4UC1E1 then:

.zip  =  64,609,640 bytes
.cpio = 189,731,840 bytes

IOTW: 196,751,360 it's a bad size... that might be causing the cpio
problems... conclusion?: A bad download?? but you mention you donwloaded
3 times...

- Maybe you cpio has a bug... i don't know... why don't you upgrade to
the last cpio.

- Don't you have a friend who has a working cpio? I could burn you a
copy but as I guess you live in France and I live in Colombia!!

Anyway... good luck.
