GLS variables

hi...

I get the following error when I try to connect my application (from win2k
pro english) with the informix database:
Server does not support GLS variables DB_LOCALE, CLIENT_LOCALE or GL_DATE.

Theinformix database is on sco.

It probably means you are using a non-GLS server, which is presumably
OnLine 5.x (if it is 6.00 or 7.00 or 7.10, you should have upgraded a
very long time ago; if it is earlier than 5.x, you should have
upgraded an even longer time ago; and the x should be at least 10,
preferably 11 or 20).
