Sigh! Before I got to Toronto, I have been a Informix DBA(online
7.3/5.0 under SCO Unix Openserver) for 6 years. I haven't got any
chance to come back in Informix since then. It's so tough for me to
find an Informix job opportunity. Is it still possible for me to get
an Informix job in Canada? I really doubt of it. I am also worried
about the future for Informix Database Technology.

You'll have to take some training... 7.3 and 5.0 are old... With all the
new stuff that went on 9.4 and the new features appearing in 9.5 if you
don't learn it, you'll be stuck.
I't like searching for jobs for Oracle 7, or SQL server 6 >:>
