LoL... I am relaxed! I'm SO RELAXED I COULD EXPLODE! Just kidding :)
Yea, I know. I was poking fun, mainly at IBM. I'm not at all convinced
of THEIR loyalty to their product. I've said it before... If IBM put as
much marketing into INFORMIX that they do into DB2, or as much as Oracle
does into its products, then my chances of re-employment after I'm done
here are MUCH higher.

Relax, Rob Contractor, I was being sarcastic. I'm working on my writing
skills. It's tough. I've had to erase and delete so much already, it's
really a struggle. :-)

you've seen DB2 marketing?
I see lots of brochures with the DB2 brand name on them but I don't
really see any marketing of DB2 UDB

You didn't see the full-page, 4-colour, right-hand page Computer Weekly ads
all summer then? They were very explicitly about DB2 UDB v8, although deep
within the text there were two "me-too" mentions of Informix and one of
Cloudscape.

Maybe you should read "DB2 Magazine." Lots of ads there! hahaha
