Greetings,

Is anyone aware of a script that will reset the permissions of
$INFORMIXDIR, it's subdirectories and the "on*" utilities?  For the
"on*" utilities, I'm speaking of the SUID and GUID permissions.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What version???????  What OS.

$INFORMIXDIR/installserver
and
$INFORMIXDIR/RUN_AS_ROOT.server

Will take care of it in most cases.
If not I think Leffler has a script on the IIUG that will fix it.

FYI

ixchkperm and ixsetperm in utils_jl in the IIUG Software archive
(http://www.iiug.org/software/).
