Hi

Anyone got a workaround to get mkmessage produce wider screens than 80
characters?

Yup - its still used, and I cannot remember how I did this last time.

Regards

I'm not aware of one.  I was intrigued, and went to look at the code.
I can see no evidence of any options to mkmessage to make lines
longer.  I looked for environment variables and command line options -
neither seem to be present.  I looked at versions back to 1994, too
(and cried at the standard of the code, but that's a separate
discussion).
