Has anyone involved in choosing Kansas City as the venue for the IIUG Conferene ever tried to travel there from "international"? I'll need to leave in early March to get there on time, having first arranged a mortgage to pay for the air-fare ... ;-) Check the KC airport (http://www.flykci.com/). It is 34.3 miles to the Overland Park Marriott. At the flykci site, you can search for a flight. For example, departing Los Angeles, CA on April 25, returning May 2. It will jump to travelocity where most flights with 1 stop can be had for under $270.00 (US). Nonstop can be had for around $285.00 (US). I've looked on Expedia and am offered changes in Washington, Newark, Chicago, Atlanta or Dallas. None looks very close to Kansas! I fly there often and never had any problem.
