And this surprises anyone?

Granted the article's author clearly has a Microsoft bias and probably
a woody in his shorts when he hears Bill Gate's name mentioned.

But the point is that for some reason, no one wants to do this
benchmark.

Where's IDS's entry?

If you think about it, if IDS were to use RTL and Time Series, it
would crush the benchmarks.

Well, I think you got the point instantly.  There's no benchmark out there of IDS.

Hey, by the way, any jumpers in your neighborhood from the market tanking?

We had a few here, lots of people sky diving into wind mills, screaming "Its OVER!"

Dramatic, and to the point.

Sorry, the only panic I've seen are the tourists and soccer moms who are walking down Mag Mile. Also the blue collar workers stumbling out of a bar after the Sox win!

Seriously, its the people who don't understand that this isnt' a bailout of the banks/financial institutions, but of the economy to ensure that there is liquidity.
There was a lot of frustrations and I urge everyone who lives and can vote in the US, to look at how their congress critter voted in the House and if they voted no, toss them out of office. They failed to understand the issue, and they failed their constituents concerning themselves with vote getting.

The funniest thing I saw on TV last night were news crews interviewing CBOE traders as they walked out of building last night.
I don't think any of them called their congress critters a nice word for failing the world. (yes the world. If the US economy tanks, say good bye to your own economy. Except the kiwis. They have their girlfriends and mint sauce to survive. ;-) [Yes a blatant sheep joke to keep OTC happy.]

Thank god my money is tied up in good farm land. I can always sell everything, move down south in to a double wide and start growing my own food and raising my own beef. ;-) And I'm really thankful that my wife's aunt's taught her how to can fruits and vegies. Its $1.00 plus per cartridge that is going to be hard to take.
(Anyone price a premium .300 Win Mag, or 7mm Rem Mag round these days? )

I'm not sure if she could handle a .300 Win Mag without a muzzle
break. Nor a 7mm Rem Mag, although with a muzzle break, its pretty
tame.
Now if we're talking shotguns, she could probably handle a 12 ga Mag
autoloader. Pump gun? Not so much. (Try 00 buckshot in a 16ga pump.Or
full load slugs)

But back to the point... premium hunting rounds in a Magnum caliber
are north of the $1.50 a round.

Very masculine of you.

I think these links might be helpful too.

Not that it is in any way a bad thing. But it is a window into
which, if they look, they will be able to see IDS.

IBM has released a statement of direction which indicates integration

since most IBM Informix customers also use other IBM databa .... er,
hang on a minute.

Once again, Mr Organ, you have failed to convince me.

But well done on the shilling, because you've managed to mention the
Oracle brand again. Don't suppose you want to trot out the dice numbers
while you're doing your little dog and pony?

I did: But only because you asked for them. I wouldn't want to
disappoint you.

Mark, now you're sounding a tad butch.

Ah:

First a box of 139 gr heavy magnum is $38.48 for a box of 20 rounds.
Thats close to $2.00 a round, more if you add shipping.

The SST 139 gr Moly coated is $33.76 for a box of 20. These are really
effective on varmits at 200+ yds.
I used ballistic tipped when I went deer hunting, but then switched to
the SSTs when they came out. Only when I went deer hunting, I ended up
shooting varmints.
In my father in-laws .300 WM, I'd shoot the Federals he used.

The cheaper Federal rounds are $23.00 a box.
