I loaded Ingres, etc on a server today and everything is running fine.
However in the Event Log, the following message is appearing immediately
after the server boots up.

Source : oipfctrs
Unable to connect to the Ingres Database Server. Status codes returned in
data.  No DBMS Servers (for the specified database) are running in the
target installation.

I've had a look on the web but can't find anything.  Do you have any
thoughts on what it could be?

Has anyone seen this error? Darren is installing Ingres26sp2 + P9918.  I am
afraid there may already be an ingres installation on this machine.

AFAIR, its OpenIngresPerformanceCounters, part of Ingres Performance
Monitor. Nothing really important, in this message, if counters were
loaded before ingres, or if you have client install. At last , worse
thing that may happen, is that performance monitor not working, but I
bet that you didn't configure it, did you?
