Sun has MySQL, Microsoft has MSSQL Express, Oracle has 10g Express. IBM has DB2 Express-C but no Informix *free* Express. There is one but if you actually wanted to use it in a small production web environment it'll cost you at least $5,000 (due to PVU costs).

I trying to get PDO_IBM to work with IDS 11.5. I am having a couple
of problems. I loaded Zend Core for IBM.
On my Windows development box, I can not get pdo_ibm or ibm_db2 to
load. The way that Zend Core loads on windows it starts php in fast

I'm tryng to install this csdk on a linux server and get the error below. Has anyone any ideas? The same client was installed on another server yesterday without problem so i'm guessing I'm missing a package

We are planning to migrate our database server to a VMware server.
The new machine will be a HP BladeServer with 2 Quadcore-processors (=8
cores),
but the (virtual) Linux-OS will only use 2 (virtual) cpu cores.
