Proview on System 720 Feb 2010 19:46 GMT3
I have a new computer and am in the process of setting it up.  Paradox,
version 9, is installed and update SP3 has been installed.  I haven't
used it much yet, but it seemed to be working all right.  This morning I
ran Proview for the first time, and it appears to have installed ...
P9 Installation hassles...?02 Feb 2010 19:52 GMT1
Howdy,
A while ago I had ripped the files from my P9 installation
CD so that I could install from the disk.
I just had to re-install Windows XP on my laptop, installed
Paradox DOS under Win XP30 Dec 2009 12:54 GMT7
A while back I started a discussion on the correct settings for running
Paradox DOS 4.5 under Win XP Pro.  At the time I was adding a new section of
code and the program was freezing intermittently.  I thought it might have
been a setting or something I did but it ended up that ...
Paradox DOS and Vista30 Dec 2009 12:53 GMT2
I read in an earlier discussion that users thought Paradox DOS 4.5
would work OK with Vista but that was before it was relaeased. Does
anyone know if it will work OK on Vista?

'Table won't open27 Nov 2009 15:51 GMT1
Am using the version of Paradox contained within Office 11 under
Windows 7.  Am an almost complete amateur at this. I am a hospice
volunteer and wanted to keep track of my work.  I have created a table
for the hospice number, last name, first name, etc of the patient.

This has probably been rehashed over and over, but I'm not seeing info
I need so here goes.

computer with Windows 7. I'm able to get Paradox to run, but only by
Migrating Paradox Database05 Oct 2009 15:29 GMT3
We recently purchased a new computer for our business and I tried to
move our existing Paradox database from the old computer to the new
one without success. I am not a programmer and as such I have not been
able to glean a solution from the very technical (to me!) discussions

LDAP and Active Directory28 Jul 2009 08:23 GMT7
Due to PCI compliancy requirements, we have a request from one of our
clients about integration with Active Directory.
Has anyone successfully tied Paradox into Windows Active Directory? and can
you point us in the right direction (resources) for researching and
Records go poof!23 Jul 2009 17:10 GMT6
We cannot explain why a group of tables ended up completely empty yesterday.
Some of the tables had thousands of records, and they all have the same
modified date/time of 4pm. Most still show varying sizes up to around 2MB,
but they are all empty. This software is used daily, and ...
Linking Paradox X3 to MS Excel 200713 Jul 2009 15:07 GMT1
Just recently, I had to upgrade my version of Office at work from 2003 to
2007, and since then I've had nothing but trouble with a few graphs I'd made
in 2003.
The graphs are fairly simple; Paradox does all the necessary leg work to get
