I have made a simple flat file for my wife in Access XP. I understand Access is not the best choice for use in a dynamic web site. I also use the forms in Access to copy and past data on other web sites it is a very fast way of doing it.

I have a MySql problem I hope someone can help me with. I'm trying to run an update on a linking table, the update is running into a Primary Key constraint violation, and in my workaround I've got stuck trying to write a DELETE statement.

I'm working on a dual entry bookkeeping system, and want to track transactions (not the db kind) occuring on accounts. I group these transactions in 'entries', to add common attributes and so on, but that's probably not relevant for this discussion.
