Is it possible to change the default font and character size for a layout
(the first time that a layout is automaticaly generated after the fields
definition)

We're using an older version of File Maker Pro in one of our units to
track some patient data. Unfortunately the system is old - V. 4.1 -
and, unstable.  I was wondering if there is some way we can easily
switch to some type of Data-Sheet view like in MS ACCESS.  That way

I have a database that from within FMPro 6, there's no problems.
However when I transfer the simple command of doing scripted searches
for certain criteria within a CDML environment, any search that should
yield 0 records ends up spitting out ALL records.

Anyone know how to make it work ??

Since I have apparently found a bug in CDML access where as if you do a
search and should be retrieving 0 records found, FMP server tells you you've
found THEM ALL! (WRONGO!)
So I tried to make a trap:
