I'd like to install both Filemaker Server version 6 and 7 on the same
server.  Is this possible or will they fight for the same network
resources?  If so, is there a work around to get both to play nicely

I have a client that needs a full barcode solution, ie able to create
barcodes and print them as well as scan barcodes in from delivery dockets
(ie from couriers) etc.

Can FileMaker be used with a dot matrix printer?  There wouldn't be any
graphics or fancy layout.  It's just a relatively high volume of
printing.  I'm guessing that the issue is software.  Is anyone selling
the driver/plug-in software?  Or is it a matter of a separate program

I suppose this is going back a long way but I have to work with a data
base at work which runs FMP4.1.   I would like to extract a report from
it but as I  have no experience with data bases and the manual has not
