I inherited a couple of old, small databases in Mac fp5 format. The new OS X server has FileMaker 8, and client installs for 8. I installed 8 on a mac and when I opened one of the old fp5 databases it prompted me to save them somewhere safe while it upgraded them to fp7

Each time I open any database in FMP6, a new file called 'FMWSDEBUG.txt' is created in the folder containing the various individual *.fp5 files. This does not harm anything, but it's a bit irritating. I just put it by hand in the trash.
