Can anyone provide me with an example of the LET function to change a TEXT
field's FONT, PT SIZE and STYLE all in one calculation.
Please use Surname as the text field in the LET calculation.  Thanks in

I have a solution with fields m01, m02,...m12. Each fields contains
either "Yes" or "No."

Hi, I am so new to File Maker, it is embarrassing. I have some
experience using MSSQL, but about a week or two with File maker Pro 8.5

I imported my old DOS database into FileMaker 8.5, and find there are
lots of fields that have carriage returns in them. This messes things
up when I use merge fields, for example, if there is a carriage return
at the end of an address1 field, or an apparently empty address2 field

When I try to assign to a button the "Go to related record" with a new
window fonction with my main screen Maximize, the new window pop up to the
right location but my main windows is no longer maximize, it's not minimize
but gets smaller.

I converted my fmp 6.0 db to 8.5.  Part of the dB includes two
files:company and contact.
