How can I get the current date and time from the internet and can I specify a time zone? Is there a windows API call or what do I need? Thanks, Mike

After installing a VFP 8 app. using an Installshield procedure (my first attempt), other MicroSoft Apps (Word and Outlook) go into "install mode" when the user tries to run them! This is on one only of the 3 PCs, on which the install has been done.

VFP8 SP1 (XP) I did something to cause the property sheet to display when my user starts the program. It didn't used to do this and I can't figure which of my many mods may have caused this.

I have started using Vista. My app writes and reads to/from the registry and that works fine in WP and W2K. Vista does not like this. It does not allow my app to write to the registry and when the app tries to read from the registry the respond is an error

When I "save as" in Word 2003, the new file is much larger than the original -- like one and a half or two times as large (example: 666mb to 1.16kb). Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Before Vista, I could keep application files in All Users\Application Data\ or Program Files\myapp\. Both those locations are not exactly secure, but relatively safe from casual users who could be scared off by Windows's "Are you sure you want to display these files?" warnings.
