How to detect in a Report (by means of an internal memory variable, or
system, etc.) that we are in PREVIEW MODE and not in the actual PRINT
operation?
I have VFP 6.0.

In preview mode, run from the client app, the report looks only partially
completed, yet editing in vfp it is quite obvious that is IS completed.
What's THAT about?
The work I do works with custom forms for various state specific reports,

but if i print with deskjet the left margin change so the report was cutte

I'm not a programmer but my customer using a visual fox pro program written
by a softwareware company.

Why is it I can not use to remote views in the report designer? It
allows me to select the parent as a view but only allows tables to be
used as the child.  I have tried to insert two views into a report
using the designer but then when you run the report the data grouping

Is there an easy way of letting the end-user specify the font/fontsize of
specific fields in a report?
I'd thought of not including the report in the EXE, opening it up as a
database, and passing the font selection to the appropriate RECNO

I want to print a GIF in a report. The name of the file is in a field.
So, in the picture properties box, I choose File and I write the name of my function which return the fullpath name of the gif. file : GetTheGifFile(Table.Id
It works very well with BMP but not with GIF ...

Is there anyway I can import a VF8 report into crystal report ver 7
editor???  Its a very complicated report with a lot of print when
stuff and I really hope I do not have to recode it all :)

Win NT Workstation with SP6, HP LaserJet 6P with latest drivers.
Default regional settings: Croatian
When I run report from VFP5 everything is O.K.
When I run same report from VFP8SP1 there are no croatian characters.

How can I get the printer options screen (which shows what pages I want to
print and how many copies I want) to show up when I hit the print button in
print preview? It looks to me like this is simply impossible in Foxpro (I'm
