I have an ESE 8.2.2 database running on win2k server [sp4]. I need to
do some system testing that requires I reset the dates back a couple of
years then progressivily move it forward to current date.

I have some questions related to stripe sets that I'm hoping someone here
can answer.
1) What happens to stripe sets when doing a database restore? Do they stay
as is?

Offlie backup done daily at 10 PM
at 7 AM follwing day we restore offline backup of PRICE as
PRICE_R and reapply log  files to  6 AM

Does the PRUNE logfile command do anything other than just do a simple
delete of the files?  Or is there more to it internally in DB2?

During install of UDB 8.1 on Windows XP, my name gets set to AUTH ID as
'MARTIN NIELSON'. Then, when I try to create a table DB2 complains about the
value of the ID. Where does DB2 get the name from so I might change it. OR,
what can I do to correct/circumvent this problem?

In our software we use an UDF since 1997. Now, after creating the
complete software, this UDF doesn't run. It gives the error message
db2 => values (lzgneu.bitand (5, 7))
