I have a situation that is as follows:
First an Index of what is discussed below:
FED_A   ->> Federated Objected/Table that has lots of rows
LOC_B   ->> Local Table which is selected and updated.

Does anyone have some java code for automatic client reroute using the Type
4 client with HADR? The Type 2 client supports this automatically with parms
in the database configuration, but it has to be done in the code for the
type 4 driver.

I thought i heard of a tool which formats the contents of
SYSIBM.SYSTABLES column PACKED_DESC to a readable report. Does anybody
know this ?

Using: AIX 4.3.3 DB2 V7.2 (FP14) + XML Extender (FP14)
The XML Entender under DB2 V8.x comes with the DB2 MQ Listener

I try to get dynamicaly all requests made to DB2
I process like this:
1) I stop then start my instance of database in the db2 control center
2) I use : db2 update monitor switches using statement on

I am trying to get db2 PE up and running on Debian Sarge. I have installed
all rpms using alien. I added the licence and I can create the das, but if
I try to create an instance with
/opt/IBM/db2/V8.1/instance/db2icrt -d -u db2run1 db2inst1

we are daily restore db "PRICE" with rollforward from server A
into PRICE on server B
Usually we restore from backup with  timestamp of ~ 02:00 AM and
applying logs  till 7 AM (30-50 logs),restore process last 1 1/2 hr.
