I wanted to post this for anyone else who has been in -30081 hell like me. Our web servers run on the Windows platform and use DB2 Connect to query our DB2 for z/OS systems. For the last 4 years I have been getting between 20 and 100 SQL30081N errors a day from our web servers.

A crazy thought just popped up into my head. Supposing your site didnt have SPUFI / QMF / Candle / Platinum or any tool that would let u create and run your SQLs, which would be the best way to get your data?

I can turn off autocommit within the command window but I cannot figure out how to turn it off when you are in the IBM DB2 Command Line Processor. Does anybody knows how? By the way I mean when you are logged on and the prompt is: db2 =>
