I did "cat /etc/hosts > /dev/kmem" on AIX v5.3 TL5 SP4 for simulating
the system crash. But, it didn't work. The error message was shown
below:
cat: 0652-054 Cannot write to output.

when does a LOAD COPY YES start to write its backup image ? After LOAD
Phase or after BUILD or DELETE phase?
What gets backed up - data pages only or index pages as well?

has damaged a index, i want to start the db in admin mode or

My problem i need to copy a set of tables (~500  - 40Go) from the production
database to the integration database by script every sunday. The name of the
