I am new to DB2,
Currently i am using DB2 version 8.02 personal edition on Windows XP
Professional.
And Facing problem with rowlock in insert query.

I have a requirement as follows:
I have a COBOL+DB2 program that inserts data into a DB2 table when an
order is placed. Now, The same data should be inserted into the same
table after every 7 days until a condition is met. This means I need

We're trying to set up an HADR pair on two databases on instances with

I am trying to script a manual operation using DB2's command line.
Simple commands are working, but the command entered below displays a
"db2 (cont.) =>" prompt, then fails on any input? I'm missing something

I am starting to config a 64 bits DB2 in IBM 595 AIX box with 2 dual
core CPU and I would like to assigned one 'processor' for one db
partition. Should I config it as a 4 nodes or 2 nodes instances? How
about other setting such as IO cleaner, Default degree etc?

im trying to install the DB2 9 version and while installation it is
asking DAS user for DB2 tools.
i've given as many passwords as i can but it always says  "The
password specified is invalid. Enter a valid password".

I am trying to add new tables to the source and target databases and
adding them for replication. I am trying not to start a full refresh
by issuing a CAPSTART signal. I have 1 source database and 2 target
databases. How can I prevent full refresh for both the targets? Any

the "db2adutl delete full older than 8 days" command. However our user
has asked that we keep one backup for a year. Is there any way to

Evrytikme I take a snapshot for one my databases I can see that there
are Hash join overflows and small hash join overflows..
Jus need to know what shud i look into yo solve the problem..
