I have question on DB2 CONNECT configure.
We installed DB2 ESE V8 FixPak 14 o AIX .
When we set up the connection to DB2 Mainframe.

I have a statement event monitor on and am looking at the output.  I
see a lot of executions of package SYSSH200.  I looked in
syscat.statements to see what it executes and didn't find any
matches.  How come and where can I find the section/statement

Is it still necessary to do perform a bind after runstats in DB2 9?
e.g.
runstats
reorg

        could someone throw  some light  on   why   do   default
software  when installed    ( as root   for  creating an instance
leaves  us with  some  world    accessable directories &  some  world
executable   files  &  some  world  readable  files   .

Tables may be reorg pending or "set integrity pending".  Can I run a
script to determine the status of a table?

Is there a simple way to get  a COUNT(*) for all tables in a schema in
DB2 LUW 9.0?
