I would like to compile ESQL/C programs on a RedHat 9 platform but cannot because of the _ctype_b problem. I understand RH9 compatible versions of the CSDK are available to users with support but I don't have support and was wondering if anyone had any further information

I am having informix performance problems. I don´t know where to start. Sometimes the database hangs, always from 00:00am to 5:00 am, but it gives no error in the log file. Can you help me?

It's glad to me to hear about new free contributions to open source community FOR FREE. Specially if I can use them in production systems (using informix). But, how can I know the existence of such thing? Should I ask every month to this group (to get an answer)?

Is there any way to programmatically determine if a "onstat -z" has been issued? We run some analysis tools/scripts that log deltas for things like IO and resetting the counts really skews the output. Thanks,
