i have a request from developers for a script that would "instantly"

there is  20 connections-user session used by appserver and reused
within connection pooling by many users

I know how to find the size and free size of a dbspace,
but how do I get these numbers for sbspaces?

IDS 9.40, Windows 2000 and Linux (SuSE SLES7).

I am getting this error in online.log file. But system is up and running
without any problem. Now if I want to restart the database engine, will it
come up without any problem. Restarting database engine will solve my
problem? IDS ver 7.30UC7.

I am doing backup with onbar. I have also set my alamrprogram to
backup the logical logs using ontape -a.
The problem is that the onbar tries to backup the current logical
using onbar and it takes ages!!!

Wouldn't you think that one of the *fundamental* things you'd want from the
IBM website listing of Workgroup Edition is the restrictions on its use? But
is this information available anywhere?  Probably, but I'm buggered if I can

can anybody say how much is the typical (or approximately) performance
advantage using "insert cursor" in comparison to using "insert". In wich
situation we should not use "insert cursor" ?
