I'm using DBI to write a monitoring program for our informix servers. Problem I am running into is that if the database server (to which I am always connecting via a tcp connection) is down completely, the connect() takes a very long time before it returns.

Dear Sir/madam I have installed the windows (xp) versipn of 4j's universal compiler. I have followed the indtructions and when l try to create a runner, using fglrun -d ifx940 i get the error message "could not link runner"

HELP HELP HELP ... Installed RHL 8.0, CSDK 2.81 UC3, IDS 9.40 UC3, 4js (3.50.1a) on a DELL Xeon server. dbimport, dbaccess etc. looks ok. Ran onchecks. No problem at all.
