I need to make a screen shot report on some of my programs as soon as
the users presses the accept-key to start processing transactions for
audit purposes. I've been using the DBSCREENOUT for years and know
this to be the easiest way to get a screen dump but the problem is

We are selecting 500,000 rows into a a cursor, with an order by, then processing those rows with by fetching them and doing work with them.
I assume our tempdbspaces are being used for this.

I am trying to determine how many locks have been used
or are currently being used.  On IDS 9.3 we can do an
onstat -k and look at the last line of output but when
we try to do the same with IDS 9.4 the onstat -k often

I ran into a problem where $sth->err was not being set to the
appropriate Informix SQL error. It was always being set to undef. This
only happens when I was using an ISPY server. If I run the exact code
and point it to the actual Informix server, $sth->err gets set correct.

Anyone else using this platform for IDS?
I am not impressed by performance of 9.40 on this platform so far. It's
only about 25% faster than standard engine on our old AIX box! For

i am looking to sum a summed column. in sql server, there is a compute
function that will perform basically a sum of a sum. is there any way
to do this through sql in informix? we are on 9.40.
