So I've been experimenting to try and understand Informix permissions. Looking at the sysuser table, there are 3 entries. One of those three is "public". Is "public" a special user? Do users that connect to Informix but don't exist in the sysuser table get the "public"

I'm planing to upgrade our OS from Solaris 5.7 to 10. However I do not know how IDS 9.0 will be affected with this upgrade. Any one has moved to Solaris 10 with Informix Dynamic Server 9.2.? What problems I my encounter? any patches?
